I think it’s safe to say that most people have a few items that we always carry with us. Some of mine include a rephr eyelash curler, concealer, lip & skin balm and elastic hairbands. When I rummage around in my bag for one of these items and come up empty handed, frustration sets in.
Weddings can be stressful and the reality is, it’s not always going to turn out exactly how you imagined. This is why every wedding party needs to create a Wedding Day Checklist. I put a ton of time and thought into this list of supplies, so I hope it comes in handy.
As a licensed make-up artist, I’m fortunate enough to have my summers packed with glowing couples and supportive family and friends. I cannot begin to put into words how much gratitude I have and how thankful I am to help someone feel beautiful on such a special day in their life.
What To Pack For The Wedding Day – A Checklist
If you’re a couple’s friend, a bridesmaid or one of the wedding day helpers, get a large tote and let’s start packing. Please share this with anyone who is helping support your wedding day timeline!
- Button down shirt (or zip up sweatshirt), because not every bridal party wants to wear robes
- Shoe pad inserts for dancing the night away
- Clear nail polish & the color you’re wearing for any nail polish touch-ups
- Q-tips
- Eye-makeup remover or towelettes
- Tissues
- Tweezers
- Nail clippers & Nail file
- Aspirin
- Sewing kit – snags can happen and they do, trust me
- Mini scissors
- Safety pins
- Deodorant
- Perfume
- Extra Bobby pins
- Hair spray
- Breath mints
- Tampon, pad or menstral cup
- Spot remover, in case of lipstick, powder, wine or chocolate landing anywhere near the dress
- Powder for combating shine – I prefer Glo Skin Beauty Perfecting Powder
- Lipstick that is vegan, cruelty free and not drying
- Clear or nude lip gloss
- A good concealer, because it’ll fix any sort of smudge under the eyes or lipstick marks on the cheeks. I like Glo Skin Beauty Luminous Brightening Concealer in the shade to match the natural skin tone
